At Titania Networks we are passionate about providing the highest quality Internet connectivity for our customers. We are proud to have joined the Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security (MANRS). This is a global initiative, supported by the Internet Society, that encourages network operators, Internet Exchanges and Content Service Providers to implement crucial fixes to reduce the most common routing threats.
By implementing best practices such as RPKI and IRRDB for prefix filtering, and Unicast Reverse Path Forwarding (URPF) to prevent spoofing we are ensuring that the routes you receive are valid and correct.
MANRS encourages network operators to implement all of these tools on their network to make BGP safer by:
- Preventing the propagation of incorrect routing information
- Preventing traffic with spoofed source IP addresses
- Facilitating global operational communication and co-operation through clear, readily available contact information to the network operations team in RIR databases and on Peering DB.
